About the library: I wish I had a library as tidy as some on the photographs on your website. I always put all kinds of ‘junk’ in front of the books just because the shelves are deep enough. In this picture you only see one side of my room, but I also have books in my bedroom, about 5 meters wide, 2 meters high, in my walk-in closet another 3 bookcases, just because there was room and I needed it (!) I have a big problem because I can’t throw away any books, all my old Agatha Christies, I’ll never read them again but…..

I have the same problem – books everywhere, EVERYWHERE. They simply get legs and walk all over. 😀

I love the skylight right above the chair. Now if you had a coffee pot somewhere in there I would insist on visting AND staying for a LONG LONG time. Speaking of which..I must put a coffee pot in my own library…and perhaps get a saw and make a skylight.

  4. Amongst the many things that are harmful to books, direct sunlight ranks very high…. But I understand you want at least see what you have or are looking for. 😉

Love the library – you know I have the Christie collection too and was just waiting for me to start forgeting things to delve in them again (along with some others like the “All creatures great and small”) – sorry I digress, anyway did’t think that would be until 70ish – well surprise!!!! I am fifty and I HAVE to read them again!!!
